Eine Schwarze Mamba soll sich in einem Stapel Holz versteckt haben. Fünf Stunden lang sind Simon und Siouxsie damit beschäftigt, das Tier aufzustöbern. Als es sich endlich zeigt, ist es nicht gerade erfreut, den Schlangenjägern zu begegnen. Noch aufwendiger gestaltet sich die Suche nach einer besonders aggressiven Schwarzweißen Hutschlange, welche die Bewohner einer Wohnwagensiedlung terrorisiert.
