Der Bariton Hugo Laporte (Kanada) singt im Halbfinale der Arien-Abteilung der Concours Musical International de Montréal 2022 (CMIM) "Mein Sehnen, mein Wähnen" aus Erich Wolfgang Korngolds Oper "Die tote Stadt", "Ô sainte médaille ... Avant de quitter ces lieux" aus Charles Gounods Oper "Faust" und "Son io, mio Carlo ... Per me giunto ... O Carlo, ascolta ... Io morrò" aus Giuseppe Verdis Oper "Don Carlos". Begleitet wird er vom Montrealer Symphonieorchester unter der Leitung von Jacques Lacombe. Diese Aufführung wurde im Montreal Symphony House aufgenommen.
